Judith has worked in the field of psychotherapy and counselling since 1990. Her experience includes extensive work across the sectors of Criminal Justice, Drug & Alcohol, Mental Health, and Social & Community Services, as well as maintaining a private practice in Sydney. Working in a number of sectors and a wide variety of clinical settings, Judith is highly accomplished in the areas of individual, couple and relationship counselling, forensic, migration, addictions, trauma, grief, mental health, and group work.
She has designed and delivered group work and programs for government and non-government organisations in Australia and overseas. These include: group programs for the NSW Department of Corrective Services, workshops for senior officials of the Hong Kong Government; staff at the United Nations, World Heath Organisation and International Labour Organisation(s) in Geneva; designing & delivering professional training for psychiatrists and psychologists at the Ho Chi Minh Institute of Mental Health in Vietnam, and a series of similar training for psychiatrists, allied health professionals and doctors at major institutions in Delhi.
Trained in Gestalt Therapy, Psychodrama, Narrative, Couple and Family (Systemic), forensic, addictions, domestic violence, trauma, and numerous approaches to therapy, Judith brings a rich background of training, knowledge and experience to her work.
For the past thirty plus years she has been a meditator and yogi, spending much time in India. Judith’s unique blend of Western psychology & Eastern spirituality is integral to her therapy, talks and workshops.
